Solving your health problems or mastering your health is very important to enjoy life. Health is the major wealth in your life.
Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problem, brain stroke, paralysis, cancer, acidity, asthma, arthritis, back pain, pimples, overweight, sex-related problems, and so forth are few of the main health problems.
Your most important house is your body, in which you stay throughout your life. Hence, body is called the Temple of God. Your most important car is again your body, as it takes you through the journey of life. This car or house of yours cannot be changed or exchanged in this life-time. Therefore, you need to take utmost care of your body and overall health.
Almost all health problems (mental as well as physical) are caused by mind (negative emotions), as the mind and body are connected; actually they are inseparably one. Every thought you think, whether consciously or unconsciously, leads to chemical reactions/changes in your brain and body; which in turn lead to your feeling; i.e., the physical sensation.
Emotion includes both a thought and a feeling (physical sensation). Every emotion, no matter how weak or strong, has these two components because every impulse at the level of mind has a simultaneous impulse in the body.
The biochemical changes (chemical changes in your body) created by your thoughts are responsible for supporting or destroying the function and life in every cell. Distressed mental state gets converted into the biochemicals that create disease.
Positive thoughts lead to positive feelings such as faith, forgiveness, love, peace, harmony, happiness, etc. due to the production of healing hormones, such as Dopamine, Serotonin, Melatonin, Endorphin, etc.; and thus heal your mind and body.
Similarly, negative thoughts lead to negative feelings such as fear, anxiety, anger, guilt, stress, depression, etc. due to the production of stress hormones, mainly Cortisol and Norepinephrine; and thus harm your mind and body.
When you think negative, you feel negative, which leads to further negative thoughts that in turn create more negative feelings due to biochemical imbalance; hence, you get entangled in a vicious cycle of negativity.
Thoughts appear to be automatic, but in fact they are learned from some past experiences. Whenever you undergo an emotionally stressful or painful experience, there is an impact or change in your belief system regarding the experience, which leads to a change in your thinking or thought pattern in similar experiences.
A belief is a thought which is ingrained/fixed in your inner mind due to some past experience, and which comes out automatically in similar experiences.
For instance, if you are bitten by a dog in your childhood, then a belief is formed by you automatically that dogs bite and are dangerous. Now, even after growing up, when you see a dog nearby, the thought will automatically come to you that this dog can bite and is dangerous. This is the implication of belief, you see!
Emotionally stressful experience creates negative belief regarding the experience; and hence, your thought pattern (the way you think) regarding the experience also becomes negative. This negative though pattern in turn, creates health problem in your life (mental or physical).
The development of illness depends on the kind of emotional stress you experience; such as financial loss, death of a loved one, family quarrel, and so forth. The health problem may develop within a day or it may take even years; depending on the intensity, duration and frequency of the emotional stress experienced. At times the experience is suppressed with no illness, but years later another emotionally stressful experience may trigger a health disorder.
Yet another very important factor responsible in the development of a disease is your attitude towards any emotionally stressful experience in life. The more positive is your mental attitude towards emotionally stressful experiences in life, the less is the chance you have in acquiring diseases.
Another vital point is that different thought patterns have impact on different parts and organs of your body. Different kinds of negative thoughts attack different cells in your body, some fast and some slow, and thereby create ailments in different parts and organs of your body.
For example, due to some reasons or past painful experiences, if you see your future dark and have fear of future, then over a period of time you may develop myopia (nearsightedness), meaning vision of far is lessened.
Thus you know that health problems or dis-eases are created by your negative thoughts due to some past emotionally stressful or painful experiences; in other words created by yourself, but unknowingly.

No doubt, your physical fitness, food habits and life-style do have high impact on your health condition; however nothing is more important then your beliefs, thoughts and feelings; i.e., your mental attitude towards emotionally stressful or painful experiences in life.
Whenever you have some health problem, it means that there is some kind of distortion or negativity in your thinking pattern. It can also mean that you are angry with somebody, either with others or yourself.
No matter how much you take care of your body, which is very important to stay youthful, unless you take care of your mind (beliefs, thoughts and feelings) – you cannot be really healthy. This is because you utilize the Divine Power flowing through you with the help of positive thoughts.
Hence, the essence of perfect health is not only healthy (fit and strong) body, but also healthy (positive and peaceful) mind!
Whenever you have some health problem, instead of worring about the ailment, you need to flip or shift your thought from worry to perfect health. This you can do simply by repeating the flip-words “perfect health” for five minutes, two to three times a day till you completely recover.
Furthermore, stop thinking or talking about the health problem, except telling your family members and doctor. If required, you may take medication; however, saying “perfect health” again and again will help you to recover much faster.
If you say “I have perfect health,” it may create a mental conflict and hence your mind may reject the auto-suggestion. All you are doing is focusing your mind on something called perfect health instead of ill-health. This will be accepted by your mind very easily. By doing so, you will find yourself recovering marvelously.
This method is useful in healing mild to moderate health problems, especially newly developed ones. Health problems or dis-eases are created by your negative thoughts due to some past emotionally stressful or painful experiences.
In case of chronic health problems, you need to release the negative emotions (such as inner hurt/pains, fear, guilt, anger, etc.) from the past experiences, and change your thought patterns from negative to positive. Hence by changing your thought patterns, i.e. the way you think, you change the condition of your body and health problems, over a period of time.
